Many Options from Minimal Parts
We were tasked with developing a single product that could be customised with a wide variety of power and data ports while being smaller than the competition. The solutions was an elegant aluminium extrusion with novel plastic end caps that can be formatted to accept a wide range of modules without any change of components.
When paired with a set of simple yet effective mounting brackets, this system is incredibly effective, durable, and unobtrusive. The design has been a high volume seller for Arrow and continues to be a formative product in their portfolio.
Linx
Flexability with Strength
Managing cables around a desk can be a frustrating, time consuming, and ugly process. We developed Linx to solve these problems by developing patented “twist not pull” spine, which can be changed in length by twisting the vertebrae apart.
Linx boasts a weighted base, quick-snap cable routing, and a versatile screw and magnetic clip to make installation a breeze. We also designed in flexibility into just one axis, making this a perfect solution for stationary or sit-stand desks.
Solo
Simple and Subtle
Some desks have port holes for guiding cables to the top of a desk. We designed Solo to fit perfectly into that hole and instead provide access to power without impacting the working surface of the table.
The aim of this project was to remain discrete. With only the top surface showing, we leant into plastic surface textures to elevate the aesthetics and communicate the brand.
